505th Command and Control Wing

This project is the first of a multi-phase design and construction program at Hurlburt Field, FL for the Air Force 505th Command and Control Wing (505 CCW) and includes two buildings - the Systems Facility and the Air Operations Center Formal Training Unit (AOC/FTU).

The 30,000 SF Systems Facility provides administrative, computer maintenance and storage functions to support the 505th CCW campus. The 62,000 SF AOC/FTU provides space for command functions, administrative and faculty offices, instructional classrooms, labs and computer rooms within a classified, access-controlled environment to support Air Operations Center (AOC) training activities for all four DoD services.

Bullock Tice Associates provided Architectural and Interior design services, including SID/CID services, and overall design project management for these facilities. The Air Combat Command recognized this project with a Concept Design Citation Award in the 2005 ACC Design Awards Program.

“I believe the Air Force received great value for the taxpayer dollar. Well done.” - Rich Williams, Facilities Director, U.S. Air Force Air Combat Command
